I am an incoming Teaching Assistant Professor in the John Chambers College of Business and Economics at West Virginia University, and an affiliate of the Kendrick Center for an Ethical Economy.

I study institutions and the industrial organization of science.

I completed my PhD in Economics at George Mason University under Pete Boettke and with Tyler Cowen, Alex Tabarrok, and Jonathan Schulz. I was also a PhD fellow with the Mercatus Center and a Graduate Fellow in the F.A. Hayek Program for Advanced Study in PPE.

Off the clock, I’m chasing my son Niko around with my wife Emily, ideally outside.
